Having rapidly expanded over a three-year period through diversification, Alfred McAlpine wasn't attracting the best talent, believed it was spending too much on recruitment and was unsure whether to outsource its recruitment or build on its in-house capability.



We uncovered a lot of hard and ‘soft’ information, which was not previously known; for example total spend, cost per hire, time per hire, quality of candidate experience, ratio of candidates to hires, levels of attrition by tenure etc. This allowed the organisation to make informed decisions and have clarity in their resourcing strategy to initiate rapid changes.
