    What an incredible journey over the last month! Emma has been included in the 2008 Management Today’s women to watch list – 35 women under 35. The annual list, now in its 6th year, recognises the alpha females who are out there making a difference and inspiring others along the way.

    This year, it is all about women who are ‘seizing the day.’ Appearing on the cover of the Management Today July issue, and the Sunday Times Business section, Emma is the third youngest on the list and epitomises Generation Y coming of age.

    We had great fun last month speaking at two important CIPD events, the first at the ICC in Birmingham on June 10th and London Olympia June 18th. The hot topic? ‘Generation Y: An age or an attitude’

    Tata 'high potentials' visit Corus UK

    While onsite at the Corus Port Talbot Steelworks we were excited to meet two of the high potential Tata secondees during their stay in South Wales. Praveen and Dipak joined us on our site tour of the Blast Furnaces and Hot Rolling Mill, the two Tata employees shared their experiences about the operations in India and described their roles at Port Talbot over the coming months.

    In November last year we launched the Next Big Thing concept at Liverpool University with Dr Paul Redmond, Head of Careers & Employability Service. We returned in June to judge the final – and what a challenge it was!!

    We joined Fred MacAulay last month on his BBC Radio Scotland show ‘MacAulay and Co’ to talk about Generation Y and the impact these curious creatures have on the workplace. Our creative genious Sally is working around the clock to create a brand new website for our generational research business, Ask Gen Y, next month so be sure to check it out when we go live.
