Liverpool University : The Next Big Thing

Prof Paul Redmond of The University of Liverpool is the driving force behind their latest initiative to encourage enterprising individuals and teams to expand their entrepreneurial skills and on November 21st we were there to launch it!


They are using the Dragons Den concept to motivate the students. Laban Roomes of GoldGenie gave a personal view of what it is really like facing the dragons and we gave them a ‘behind the scenes’ insight to let them know what happens when the cameras stop rolling and the work starts to turn the ideas into businesses. We will be back up there to judge the ideas in true dragons style, the winning business idea will receive a substantial business support package including a cash prize.
