Corus Steel Resourcing Review 2008

We are proud to announce that e3 was awarded a project to review and redesign the resourcing processes within Corus Steel across the UK and Netherlands. The Corus Group is facing increasing pressures from the growing costs of raw materials and rising numbers of experienced staff and managers retiring in the next three years. The recent take-over by Tata Group has provided the opportunity for rapid growth around the world, with the prospect of doubling capacity and headcount to over 90,000. To help achieve Continuous Improvement, e3 has been asked to review the current processes around recruitment and resourcing so that the following goals can be achieved:
• Deliver on Group vision for 2008
• Embed Performance Culture
• Nurture Existing Talent
• Source Global Talent
• Build Employer Brand
• Build World-class Apprentice and Graduate Programmes to help combat corporate “brain drain’
We are reviewing the internal resources, processes and policies around recruitment and engaging with all levels within the organisation - helping Corus make informed decisions. The initial discovery stage will take approximately three months, and then implementation following the discovery. We are delighted to have Charlie Duggan and Steve Gookey on board the Corus e3 team. We believe they are the best in the industry and welcome them onboard.
