the revolution
Welcome to work 2.0. In this new world of work the tables are turning. The new war for talent will be fought over better returns on what employees invest their time in. Work will be built ‘my way’ and leaders must do more to encourage ‘peer-to-peer’ collaboration.
As Bill Jensen says in his most recent book “Make no mistake, a Work 2.0 world is not about entitlements or the superficial trappings of a ‘great place to work.’ We’re in the midst of a fundamental shift in which frontline workers realize that their time, attention, knowledge, passion, energy, and social networks are real currency in a tight economy. They want a better return on these assets. This forces leaders to change how they think about tools, information, infrastructure, control, communications and their accountability to employees.”
Resourcing and recruitment should be at the epicenter of talent management. No longer is it acceptable for this responsibility to be ‘outsourced’ to the HR department. Chief Talent Officers need to infiltrate the workplace and resourcing needs to be at the top of the corporate agenda.
We like to think differently. We live and breathe the new world of work and are incredibly passionate when it comes to helping organisations understand their workforce. We are starting the revolution in talent management with our e3insight:
• We engage with the CEO, Board and HR to develop corporate sustainability. Together we define talent, understand the company aspirations and any talent gap and hiring needs analysis for the coming 12 months.
• We then take a deep dive into every aspect of the resourcing and recruitment processes. We review the attraction methodologies, candidate experience and interview techniques, right through to the use of technology and on-boarding.
• Running parallel to this is an in-depth study on the Return on Investment, we gather the statistical data on spend, time to hire, productivity and employee engagement etc so leaders can make informed decisions on talent management.
• We become a seamless part of your organisation during the e3insight so together we can create a first-class resourcing strategy for the new world of work. We educate, engage and empower the leaders in the business along the way, creating a killer culture in our wake.
